Jubilee, sometimes referred to as the Jubilant Girl, is a mutant character from Marvel Comics. Her first appearance was in Uncanny X-Men #244 (May 1989).
Created by Chris Claremont and Marc Silvestri, Jubilee possesses the mutant ability to generate pyrotechnic energy plasmoids, which she refers to as "fireworks". She can control the color, intensity, and density of these energy blasts, using them for various effects, from dazzling displays to concussive force.
A prominent member of the X-Men, Jubilee has been associated with various teams throughout her history. Her youthful exuberance and often lighthearted personality provides a counterpoint to the more serious members of the team.
